Content Updates & Security Plans

We know your website’s updates and security are vital, so we have developed plans to ensure your content is fresh, accurate, and relevant, your site is continually monitored for malicious attacks, and all your website’s components perform optimally. That’s why we now offer Content Updates & Security Plans.

Hackers target websites in order to inject malware or other viruses, which can disable your site or infect visitors with malicious code they might then share along their network. Adding a Content & Security Plan to your site-development project will contract our team to run automatic updates and scan your site continually for any type of breach. These updates are the best first line of defense in keeping your site clean and safe. To support these updates, we perform regular backups, security scans, and uptime monitoring, which provides a better user experience—one that is noticed by search engines.

Content Updates & Security Plans are available from Spider Trainers by the month, or at a discounted annual fee. Three available tiers: Minimum Content Updates & Security Plan, Premium Content Updates & Security Plan, or Optimum Content Updates & Security Plan, have all been designed to ensure your main website will be cared for by us in the manner you would expect.

Each Content Updates & Security Plan includes a specified amount of time per month for Technical Guidance, and a specified amount of time per month for Site Updates (see table below).

Site Updates: Update existing content or add new content to existing pages, including text, forms, images, and video. Add new pages including new content and related navigational changes. Update CSS styling (colors, text size, fonts, backgrounds, and so on).

Technical Guidance: Answer questions and provide guidance via email, Skype, FaceTime, webcast, or phone related to your website, domain registration, hosting, security, SEO, marketing, advertising, analytics, content, formatting, and so on. This does not include any actual work on your site or hosting account.

There is no carry-over from month to month. If you have needs outside your plan’s provisions, or the time required to complete your request(s) exceeds your plan, we will contact you and provided an estimate of cost before we begin the work. This work will be invoiced separately at the rate of $175 per hour, and includes large-scale projects such as new site designs, new site themes, graphic design, print projects, and the like.

Terms of service

Spider Trainers has an experienced team capable of providing the services listed in each Content Updates & Security Plan level. As with any project, we complete our work in a professional, timely manner and do our utmost to meet all deadlines.
Spider Trainers will perform the work exercising recognized best industry practices—the standard expected from a suitably qualified person with relevant experience. We cannot guarantee our wok will be error-free and thus, will not be liable to you or any third party for damages, including lost profits, lost savings, or other incidental, consequential, or special damages, even if you’ve advised Spider Trainers of these. If a problem is found to be due to Spider Trainers’ error, we will fix it at no additional cost, and the time spent will not be deducted from your Content Updates & Security Plan time allotment.

Liability

Your liability to Spider Trainers will be limited to the amount of fees payable under these Terms of Service for the work we perform under the headings above. You are not liable to Spider Trainers or any third party for damages, including lost profits, lost savings, or other incidental, consequential, or special damages, even if Spider Trainers has advised you of them.

Cancelation & Refunds

Content Updates & Security Plans may be canceled at any time with 30 days’ notice in writing, including notification by email. Unused hours for that 30-day period will not be refunded after cancelation, but can be used up until the end of the period. If you cancel with more than one month left on the annual plan, we will issue a pro-rated refund for the unused time, less the 30 days’ notice. In addition, should Spider Trainers find it necessary to cancel your plan, we will provide you 30 days’ notice, and refund pro-rata any unused time, less the 30 days’ notice.
