Coy Shaffstall
Coy Shaffstall, partner and digital media specialist
Coy Shaffstall came by his interest in computers and technology naturally. Born to the Atari age and raised on Macs, Shaffstall has spent most of his life, and now his career, developing technology skills that have shuttled him through various positions while he pursues a degree in linguistics.
Launching both his career and higher education, Shaffstall joined the US Navy in 2002 as a master-at-arms — studying criminal justice where he became knowledgeable in many aspects of law enforcement. He continued his pursuit of technology by building and maintaining computers — primarily for gaming — in his spare time. He returned to Colorado after being honorably discharged in 2006.
Shaffstall, a proficient writer with exceptional skills in customer service, wrote a tech column for X-Ray Magazine, a digital publication focused on advancing customer skills when using extensible technology and worked retail at the Apple store in order to further develop his skills with computers and technology.
A partner and digital-media specialist at Spider Trainers, Coy also holds a position as Constellation content coordinator for Perseus Books Group where he draws upon his aptitude for HTML and knowledge of eBook formats, and has establish himself as a valuable asset in fixing, compiling, and transmitting eBooks received from publishers.
Coy enjoys carpentry, metalworking, classical guitar, C++, and HTML, among a multitude of other interests; most of which require a computer.
